Description

Enshrined in the Hall of Fame in 2003 Gary Carter was a career NL backstop known for defensive excellence and clutch hitting. This game-worn Montreal Expos warm-up jacket was donned by Carter in the early 1980s. The blue Wilson size 44 nylon zipper-front specimen has an Expos logo sewn on the left breast, on which Carter has lent his (“8-9”) penning. The patch has been sewn directly on in the same style as “CARTER” is sewn on reverse in red-on-white twill. The left shoulder features a white-on-red twill “8”. Moderate wear. JSA sticker/card for autograph; Miedema LOA for game use.
