The traveling "Tour of Japan" team, whose autographs decorate this signed played eighteen exhibition games during their visits to Japan and Honolulu, winning each and every one of them. This red-and-blue stitched baseball is in very low grade condiiton due to display contusions scattered across each of the panels as well as moderate to heavy shellacking. The signatures are ("7") or better strength unless otherwise noted and the reverse sweet spot still still has its original mounting piece. Includes: North Panel: Lefty Grove, unidentified, Tom Oliver, Al Simmons (d.1956); South Panel: Lou Gehrig with personalization and Japan 1931 inscription ("6" with "L" affected slight by shellacking); West Panel: Frankie Frisch, Willie Kamm, Frank "Lefty" O'Doul (d.1969, "6"; surname slight affected by shellacking), Bruce Cunningham and East Panel: Rabbit Maranville (d.1954), Mickey Cochrane (d.1962), Herold "Muddy" Ruel (d.1963), George L. Kelly ("5-6"). Full photo LOA from JSA.
