The reigning inaugural world champions beat the Pale Hose 2-1 on this day, with HOFers Collins, Davis and Walsh in the lineups, plus the Tannehill brothers on opposing sides. Collins is also pictured on the cover, above an illustration of the Roxbury Rooters (referencing Red Sox Nation forefather Nuf Ced McGreevey) with the caption, "At Baltimore in '97, Pittsburgh 1903, with the odds against us, in the enemy's battlefield, we cheered them on to victory and brought home that flag." The scored program measures 5-1/4 x 8" and rates FR. Advertisement for Carl Horner's famous team composite and league composite displays are both featured inside, as are prominent head shots of Ban Johnson and Cy Young.
