The Braves got off to a strong start with a Game 1 win at home over Bob Feller, and then they also took Game 5 in Cleveland—when Satchel Paige made history as the first black pitcher in World Series history. But the Indians prevailed in Game 6 for the championship. These two unscored "Cleveland" programs present in approximate (GD) condition (due to loose covers, spine wear, some chipping) and are decorated by bold pennings of average ("9") strength. Auction LOA from JSA.

Program 1: (7) signatures on cover with Al Dark, Larry Doby, Bob Feller, Tommy Holmes, Bob Lemon, Johnny Sain & Warren Spahn;

Program 2: (4) signatures on interior pages with Lou Boudreau, Larry Doby, Bob Feller, Warren Spahn.
