Description



The passion of Midwestern baseball fans from past and present in the unique confines of Kauffman Stadium is evident in this pair of game used jerseys. Both jerseys feature light to moderate wear and come from the 1980s, when George Brett left his indelible impression as the franchise's first true superstar.

1987 Melido Perez Game-Used Away Jersey: baby blue button-down shirt with "Royals 31" sewn across chest in white in the same style as "Perez 31" appears on reverse. The inside left tail is home to the Rawlings size 44 label as well as a "87 1" game identifier sewn on in blue, indicating year and set number. Left shoulder is home to "KCR crown" Royals logo

 

1988 Jimmie Schaffer (bullpen coach) Game-Used Home Jersey: white button-down shirt with "Royals 44" sewn across chest in blue in the same style as "Schaffer 44" appears on reverse. The inside left tail is home to the Rawlings size 46 label as well as a "SET 1 1998" gamer tag. Left shoulder is home to "KCR crown" Royals logo.

 

Huggins and Scott is allowing the winning bidder 45 days from the date when payment is received to have the item independently authenticated. Payment must, however, be made within two weeks from the end of the auction.
