Kenneth Coleman (d.2003) was an announcer for almost four decades. Ned Martin and Jim Woods were replaced as the Red Sox play-by-play crew in 1978 by Coleman, who is well known for broadcasting the 1986 World Series and (2) ALCS series: 1986 & 1988. Coleman retired in 1989. He gave the famous "STRIKE THREE! Roger Clemens has broken the Major League record for strikeouts in one game! He has struck out 20...Mariners" call that is related to the above lot. The April 29, 1986 broadcast was able to accurate capture Clemens recording his 20th strikeout (Phil Bradley of the Mariners).
