Description

Authors of a whopping 75 complete games, the 1937 Washington Senators fared miserably offensively, launching a league-low 47 round-trippers thanks, in large part, to cavernous Griffith Stadium. This OAL Harridge ball is autographed by (13) members of that D.C.-based roster. The OAL Harridge orb (grade VG) features signatures that average (“5-6”) strength. Includes: Sweet Spot: Buck "Bobo" Newsome (d.1962), Ossie Bluege; North Panel: Dick Lanahan, Ben Chapman, Cecil Travis, Ed Linke, Buddy Lewis; South Panel: unidentified, Buddy Myer; West Panel: Frank "Shanty" Hogan (d.1967), Al Simmons (d.1956), Syd Cohen and East Panel: Johnny Stone (d.1955). Full photo LOA from CAS.

Note: Bucky Harris (east panel) is a clubhouse penning.
