Set your sights on this vintage Annie Oakley flannel baseball uniform. This jersey and pants combination was worn in American Legion play during the 1950s.
A Rawlings tag inside the jersey's collar shows the size to be "40". This shirt shows abundant signs of authentic use including some staining and several threadbare sections of wear mainly near the collar on the back. Additionally the number "22" felt patches on the reverse have sections of material loss. The front is affixed with "Annie Oakley" name patches, the left sleeve bears a "Coleman Pure Milk" (of Little Rock, AR) sponsor patch and all five buttons are securely attached.
The panets have a "Southern" label tag with size "M". This garment also shows of authentic use, with moderate fraying on the belt loops, soiling stains on the legs and a small tear on the left rear pocket. The elastic bands at the leg openings have plenty of spring to them and as with the jersey all buttons are firmly attached.
